Field notes
- Previous-generation color A3. Still everywhere. SC map is close to IM C; firmware packages are not interchangeable with IM C.

- ITB and PCU work is the same idea: reseat, process control, do not skip developer init.

Start here on a call
Enter SP mode
SOP / IM C: Reset → 806182 → hold C. Then 5812# (phone on counter), 5810# (SC reset), 5990# (print SMC).
SC reset (SP5-810)
Clear a latched Level A/B service call after the repair is actually done.
Read SC history
The standing SC is rarely the whole story. History tells you what led up to it.
Forced process control
Run MUSIC / process control after PCU, developer, ITB, or ID sensor work.
Developer initialization
Init TD sensor / developer after a PCU or developer swap. Skipping this is a textbook SC325.
