SC reset (SP5-810)

Clear a latched Level A/B service call after the repair is actually done.

01Confirm the cause is gone
Fuser seated, connectors locked, no wrap, fans spin, PCU/ITB latched. If you cannot name the part you changed or the connector you reseated, you are not ready to reset.
02Enter SP
Reset → 806182 → hold C. Open System SP. If C does not take: try 806182#.
03SP5-810-001
SP Direct 5810001, or walk SP5-810 SC Reset. Execute. The machine will usually reboot by itself.
04Prove it
Let it warm all the way to ready. Print a few plain-paper sides. If 541/542 come back on the first warm-up, the hardware is still bad — do not reset again without a part.
