First check

Heater not energizing, thermistor out of position, or a unit that was just replaced and not reset.

What it means

Hot roller / belt failed to reach warm-up, 100°C, or reload temperature in time. Sister of SC541 — same parts, different timer.

  • Fusing lamp / coil disconnected
  • Center thermistor out of position
  • Tripped thermostat
