Paper path
Fuser wrap / jam recovery
Clear a wrap without destroying the belt or guaranteeing a 541.

01Power and cool
Stop the job, main off, unplug, wait. Gloves.
02Direction
Pull with the paper path, not against the nip. If it will not come, pull the fuser and unwrap on the bench.
03Residue
Label glue and envelope striping on the thermistor will throw 541/542 the moment you boot. Clean the NC window once cool.
04Test
Plain paper first. If 541 latches, follow the 541 card — the wrap may have ripped the thermistor off its mount.
