Pro production color
Pro C5200 / C5210
SOP (production UI) · EFI / GW hybrid depending on config · 65 / 80 ppm color production
Field notes for this family — not a scanned FSM. Confirm the serial in the book before you order a part.
Covers
- Pro C5200S
- Pro C5210S
Field notes
- Production engine. SC numbers overlap office machines but the FRUs and SP numbers do not. Use the Pro FSM.
- Fusing is a different unit (belt, oil, or special media modes). Do not quote office 541 steps blindly — the idea (thermistor / heater / reset) is the same, the parts are not.
- Process control is more involved (MUSIC, color calibration). A 360/285 here is a calibration + belt call.
PM interval
Much tighter PM — fuser, PCU, ITB on click, not ‘until it fails’
Key SP numbers
- SP5-810SC reset (confirm exact nibble on Pro FSM)
- Process / MUSICForced color registration + density
Unit locations
Fusing belt assembly
Right / rear per Pro FSM — two-person lift on some
ITB
Production belt — handle as a clean-room part
Hot codes on this family
Start here on a call
Enter SP mode
SOP / IM C: Reset → 806182 → hold C. Then 5812# (phone on counter), 5810# (SC reset), 5990# (print SMC).
SC reset (SP5-810)
Clear a latched Level A/B service call after the repair is actually done.
Read SC history
The standing SC is rarely the whole story. History tells you what led up to it.
Forced process control
Run MUSIC / process control after PCU, developer, ITB, or ID sensor work.
Developer initialization
Init TD sensor / developer after a PCU or developer swap. Skipping this is a textbook SC325.
