Listen for the main / ITB drive at start of job. No spin → motor. Spin + leak smell → transfer bias.
What it means
On current IM C this is a transfer-related motor/bias fault. On older Aficio/MP it is often the main motor lock. Select the model.
Aficio: SC440 = main motor lock. IM C: treat as transfer/ITB drive until the model manual says otherwise.
