What it means

Toner density sensor could not be adjusted into range. New developer, empty bottle, or dead TD sensor.

Likely causes

• Empty or unseated toner bottle
• New developer not initialized
• TD sensor contaminated or failed
• Developer life expired

1. 1BottleReseat the toner bottle for that color. Shake a new bottle. Confirm the supply motor actually turns (listen / SP5-804).
2. 2Developer initAfter a dev-unit or PCU swap, run developer initialization (SP3-002 for the color). Skipping this is a classic SC325.
3. 3TD sensorIf init fails, replace the development unit / PCU (TD sensor is in the unit on IM C).
