What it does
SP5-812-001 = shop / service telephone. SP5-812-002 = service-station fax. 002 is what prints on the counter list when meter charge is on. This is the phone-on-the-counter SP — not @Remote.
5812 is the shop phone on the counter. It is not the machine serial and it is not @Remote. Confirm 001 vs 002 on the screen in front of you.
How to enter it
1. Enter SP
Home. Reset. Type 806182, then hold C until SP appears. (# works on some SOP — hold C is the one in the current IM C videos and docs.)
2. 5812 then #
SP Direct: 5812 then #. Opens SP5-812. On SOP, Direct is faster than walking 5 → 812.
3. 001 and 002
001: service representative telephone. 002: service-station fax — that number prints on the counter / meter sheet so the office can fax the click count back. Put the shop number in both if they only gave you one.
4. Prove it
Print a counter list (User Tools counter, or SMC via 5990-001) and read the service tel/fax before you leave.
